Light-filled and beautifully private, The Strand is a one-bedroom guest house with sweeping vineyard views, generous outdoor spaces and some of the best sunset outlooks on the property.

Wake to the vines from the king bedroom, where an oversized picture window perfectly frames the landscape and the kangaroos that regularly make their way across the property in the early morning.

Outside, a sunny all-weather veranda overlooks the vines and expansive lawns, while a private Mediterranean-inspired garden and pergola create a secluded spot for afternoon drinks as the sun begins to drop behind the ridgeline.

Inside, vaulted ceilings, skylights and American oak floors give The Strand a wonderful sense of light and space. The beautifully appointed kitchen flows into the living area, while the generous ensuite features dual vanities and an accessible design.

In the cooler months, the wood-burning fire becomes the heart of the guest house, perfect for settling in with a bottle discovered during a day exploring McLaren Vale.

The Strand has been thoughtfully designed with wider openings and an accessible kitchen and bathroom. Guests with specific accessibility requirements are encouraged to contact us before booking so we can make sure the accommodation is right for you.

Your guest house will be prepared before arrival with locally sourced provisions and a complimentary minibar, tailored to the length of your stay.

To give guests complete privacy, we don’t provide daily housekeeping. Stays of four nights or more include a mid-stay service, with the guest house refreshed and provisions and minibar replenished.
