Making a Booking
Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. Payment of the deposit constitutes the clients acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Balance: The full balance of the tariff must be received 14 days prior to arrival. If not, management has the right to cancel and attempt to replace the booking.
Payment: Visa, MasterCard & AMEX are accepted (1.5% fee applies to all) or EFT. Credit card detail will be required for all bookings. These are tokenized and therefore held securely in our booking system for the duration of the stay.
Cancellations
Up to 14 days prior to arrival: 50% loss of full tariff ie; non refundable deposit
Within 14 days prior to arrival: 100% loss of the full tariff
Refund Conditions: If the booking can be replaced a refund may be offered, less a cancellation fee of $100
Date changes
Up to 45 days prior to arrival: Moving dates is permitted within reason
Within 45 days prior to arrival: The dates being vacated must be replaced by another booking before alternative dates can be confirmed. If the vacated dates cannot be replaced by another booking – up to 14 days prior to arrival the 50% non refundable deposit will be forfeited – within 14 days prior to arrival the full tariff will be forfeited
Moving dates forward or back by a few days if available will not incur a penalty
GROUPS: FOR GUESTS BOOKING 4 – 6 GUEST HOUSES:
Making a Booking for Groups
Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. Payment of the deposit constitutes the clients acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Balance: The full balance of the tariff must be received 45 days prior to arrival. If not the owner has the right to cancel the booking and attempt to re let the property.
Payment: Visa, MasterCard & AMEX are accepted (1.5% fee applies to all) or EFT. Credit card detail will be required for all bookings. These are tokenized and therefore held securely in our booking system for the duration of the stay.
Cancellation or Date Changes for groups
Up to 45 days prior to arrival: 50% loss of full tariff (i.e. the non refundable deposit)
Within 45 days prior to arrival: 100% loss of the full tariff
Refund Conditions: If part or all of the booking can be replaced, relevant funds, less a cancellation fee of $100 per guest house, will be refunded
Up to 45 days prior to arrival: Moving dates is permitted within reason
Within 45 days prior to arrival: No changes can be made
Moving dates forward or back by a few days if available will not incur a penalty
FOR ALL GUESTS:
Visitors / Parties
Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation.
ONLY CONFIRMED GUESTS ARE PERMITTED ON OUR PROPERTIES
This is not negotiable and means we do not permit guests visitors. If additional parties are found on the property we reserve the right to cancel the booking immediately and guests will be asked to leave
Our properties are not suitable for wedding preparations where additional parties are required to attend the property ie; no photographers, hairdressers, makeup artists, etc
Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited.
Gift Vouchers
Vouchers are subject to the same terms and conditions as a standard booking
Mini Wine Bar Fridge
Wine consumed from the mini wine bar fridge will be charged to the guest’s credit card per the displayed price list
Damages, Breakages, Theft & Loss
These are the guest’s responsibility during their stay and must be advised ASAP.
Any damage or theft of property will be on charged at repair/replacement cost.
NOTE: The Riedel glassware is expensive @ $45 per glass and any breakage may be charged @ $20.
Cleaning which goes beyond the standard will be on charged.
Please do not use the white towels to remove makeup and be aware spray tan is very difficult to remove from linen and white bath towels. We supply dark flannels and facial cleansing wipes to remove makeup.
Any permanent staining may result in a replacement charge.
The owners’ take no responsibility for the tenants’ personal property.
EV Charging
Due to Insurance exclusions, electric vehicles should not be charged on our properties. Charging stations can be found at various locations around the region including the McLaren Vale Visitors Centre and a Tesla charging station at Maxwell Wines.
Departure
The property should be left in a respectful state.
Please load used crockery/cutlery, etc into the dishwasher and switch it on.
The BBQ should be brushed down and stowed under its cover.
Check-out time is 10.30am, to allow time to prepare the property for the next guests. This may sometimes be varied upon agreement with the owner prior to arrival on the property.
Regrettably we will charge $50 per hour or part thereof to the credit card held on file should a guest stay beyond the agreed time.
Removal of Rubbish
Housekeeping will remove general rubbish following guest departure, should you have excess rubbish there is a dumpster behind the grey gate located adjacent The Ardmore Guest House.
Pets & Smoking
Pets/animals are not allowed
Smoking is STRICTLY PROHIBITED ANYWHERE ON OUR PROPERTIES
Safety
This is a working vineyard and therefore from time to time there will be machinery noise and vineyard staff on the property.
During Vintage (Feb – Mar) the harvest machinery may operate on the property during the night.
