The Highland

Set high above the vines, The Highland is a generous two-bedroom retreat with sweeping views across McLaren Vale.

The expansive balcony takes in approximately 240 degrees of vineyard and rolling hills, while more than 20 square metres of glass brings the landscape into almost every part of the house. From first light over the vines to a glass of wine at sunset, the view is very much part of the stay.

The Highland is particularly well suited to two couples, with two king bedrooms, each with its own marble ensuite and underfloor heating, offering plenty of space and privacy.

The large kitchen is designed for guests who enjoy cooking and entertaining, with a 900mm five-burner gas cooktop, electric oven, full-size fridge/freezer and plenty of preparation space. An elevated island sits at the centre, perfect for a long breakfast, a bottle of local wine or simply gathering at the end of the day.

For those who would rather leave the cooking to someone else, a private chef experience can be arranged for suitable group bookings.

Your guest house will be prepared before arrival with locally sourced provisions and a complimentary minibar, tailored to the length of your stay.

To give guests complete privacy, we don’t provide daily housekeeping. Stays of four nights or more include a mid-stay service, with the guest house refreshed and provisions and minibar replenished.
